Restricted Area

This collage has 15 components that were taken by Pei-Ching in Governor’s Island. Hoping to emphasizes the core value of Governor’s Island, She chose items that often has negative influence toward nature and placed it into a space surrounded by metal net. It’s interesting to see that, in this restricted area, there are still things that symbolize freedom, such as the hen on the cage and the Statue of Liberty. This collage aims to advocate that we are living under regulations in order to protect other species and our planet.
