Light as Rhythm

W/ Anya Nath, Freni Shah, Roberto Esquenazi Alkabes

This project is focused on designing environments that support night shift healthcare workers’ transition from alertness to restfulness at unconventional hours. The shared thesis is to create adaptive spaces that gently entrain their natural rhythms into a supportive, consistent cycle. It is specifically targeted the “return from work” scenario, occurring daily from 6:30 to 8:00 AM, to address the critical period when these workers transition from high alertness to rest.
